Circulatory SystemThis lesson uses a diagramming tool called Cacoo. I ask the students to create a diagram showing the path of blood in the circulatory system. The task appeals to visual learners because the diagram gives a very clear indication of where the blood is moving in a way that explanation cannot. It is also a hands-on project which engages and motivates students.

EstimationA SMARTBoard is the vessel for this lesson. The entirety of the lesson is interactive on the board, which is great for kinesthetic learners. Students are able to manipulate objects on the board to show their understanding of math concepts. Creating my first SMARTBoard lesson was not easy. However, it is an excellent tool to keep students excited about school.

Alcohol AwarenessI created this lesson to be used during Red Ribbon Week, but it is applicable whenever the class is discussing drugs and alcohol. The tool used here, Glogster, is a site for creating virtual posters. The beauty of this site is that it allows students to be highly creative on the project while keeping it neat and professional, allowing the project to be displayed to parents, peers, and the community. This project is extremely useful for visual learners because they can easily organize information.

Reflection
By using three different technology tools in creating these lesson plans, I discovered how many resources there are for me to use. It is amazing that the number of options to enhance student learning is so great. Each of these lessons can appeal to different learning styles, which is an extremely important aspect in education.
